EEDS Login: The government of Karnataka has brought students and employees of schools under one platform. The schools are government-aided, private aided schools, and private schools. The students belong from the 1st standard to the 10st standard.
The concept of binding every student with a unique tracking number, known as the student tracking system, STS is a unique approach. EEDS Login Karnataka STS Shikshaka Mitra app Details:
This extended service provides an online employee data system (EDS). The Main web Portal designs are for the teachers of primary and secondary schools. In addition, the government is instrumental in designing Shikshaka Mitra app to support the same Services. All Employees of Karnataka can be requested to install the apps from the Google play store. Karnataka EEDS Login Process:
EEDS is the employee data system that provides services to the school, employees, and office. The employee must follow the simple login process as described below.
1. Open the web browser and insert the web portal address www.sts.karnataka.gov.in/EEDS/login/loadLoginPage.htm.
2. The employee must click on the login page as Employee, Office, or School. The Employees will have to enter their Username, and password and fulfill the Captcha code.
3. Next, the employees must select the language between English or Kannada and Click on the login button. Then, the employee gets into the account.
Reset EEDS Password:
Visit the official website and enter the login page. Click on the forgot password option. Or Employee must address the problem at [email protected].
Register in EEDS Shikshaka Mitra App:
1. Download the Shikshaka Mitra – Karnataka from the Google play store.
2. The employee must install and open the apps. The employee must enter the login page and enter the KGID number.
3. The EEDS STS Kar website will deliver an OTP to the employee’s registered Mobile number. The employee must enter the OTP in the blank and set the password.
4. Now, Employees of Karnataka should feed the user ID and password and Login the Employee data system.

Student Tracking System for Efficient Services:
1. Earlier attempts by the department of education to capture data in an offline mode under the Hejje Gurutu project did not yield beneficial results. But the new online system has more features. The Student Tracking System STS focuses on minimizing the hurdles that arose in operating the Hejje Gurutu project. STS can provide the data to the district information system for education, DISE. When the parents change the child’s school then, the database gets automatically updated.
2. Mr. Jaffer, Commissioner for Public Instruction, told the Hindu that the available data helps to make inferences and decisions when necessary. It can improve the quality of government schools effectively.
3. The entire system covers about 1.1 crore students of government schools, aided schools, and private schools. The government of Karnata entrusted the STS massive project to ICT Infracon, a private company based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The STS includes students from the 1st to 10th class.
Benefits of STS Karnataka Web portal:
1. The web portal provides services to students, employees, and schools.
2. The web portal shall tag every student with a unique tracking number between the 1st and 10th classes in Karnataka.
3. Crore school children shall be sharing their educational information on the Karnataka educational web portal.
4. The student’s unique tracking number will comprise a 9-digit number and, the web portal shall index the student’s academic information.
5. The student’s academic information shall cover their academic performance, school details, scholarships, and awards.
6. The school headmaster shall have admin powers to access every student’s academic record on STS unique number.
7. The department of education can accurately analyze school dropouts.
8. The education department can avoid duplication in incentives and scholarship payments.

Karnataka employee data system will comprise services that directly benefit the schools’ employees. They can be Staff, teachers, headmasters, etc. Following are the services a school employee can avail of online.
- Apply on leave application, Sanction of charge allowance.
- Seek sanction for physically handicap allowance, Small family norms allowance.
- Obtain permissions for advances, partial withdrawal, final settlement of general provident fund, and festival advance.
- Apply for other posts, higher education, and construct the house.
- Ask for permission to procure a Site, home, vehicle, or movable or immovable property.
- Request pensions, no objection certificate for passport module, and undertake a foreign trip.
