Odisha Liquor Home Delivery apps: The Odisha State government Beverage Corporation (OSBC) has officially released the Notice about the Home Delivery of Alcohol on 23rd May 2020 (Saturday) and it has allowed selling the Liquor Online. The Odisha state is going to sell the Liquor through the Food delivery apps Such as Swiggy, Zomato.
Already, the Food delivery Platforms like Swiggy, Zomato have started to deliver Alcohol in Ranchi and Jharkhand states through their Mobile apps. Now, the Odisha state govt has given NOC Certificate to Swiggy, Zomato apps to deliver the Liquor Online.
The state government has initiated a Special Covid-19 Fee by making Small Changes and increased Liquor MRP rates of all types of Brands such as foreign liquor, Whiskey, and beer. The state govt has increased more than 50% rates on beer.
And it has allowed Online Liquor Home Delivery from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The home delivery Charges are Minimum of Rs.100 and a Maximum of Rs.300. So, people who want to place a liquor order in Odisha state can use the Food Delivery mobile apps like Swiggy, Zomato, and book the Alcohol Online.

The Odisha Liquor Home Delivery Process has started on Sunday and it will continue till the end of the 4th Phase of lockdown. Due to the Noval Caronavirus Pandemic, the state govt of Odisha has closed the liquor shops from March 22nd to 4th May 2020 across Orissa state.
After granting permission by the central government, several states have launched new methods to sell the liquor in their respective states. The Delhi, Maharashtra, Jharkhand states have introduced a token system in their orange and green zones to sell the liquor and Other states like Kerala, Punjab, West Bengal have developed mobile apps to sell Alcohol online.
Important Rules:
- People who want to place an order via Swiggy, Zomato must be a citizen of Odisha and they should be crossed 21 years of age.
- Customers should not purchase liquor at the wine shops directly during the period of Lockdown.
- People should not allow buying liquor from other mobile applications. Only consumers can place an order via Swiggy, Zomato apps.
- The home delivery charges will be added after placing the liquor/wine/beer/ Whiskey order.
- Customers can place a minimum of 2 liters of Alcohol per order. No one will allow placing orders of more than 2 liters of liquor per day.
- Customers must know that the online liquor order process will work via Swiggy and Zomato apps during the period of 4.0 lockdown.
- We are suggesting that customers never carry the liquor from the nearest wine shop in these pandemic situations.

The Process to book Odisha Liquor through Swiggy, Zomato apps:
1st Step: First, Customers must go through the Google Play Store and Install Mobile apps such as Swiggy & Zomato.
2nd Step: Complete the Sign Up process by providing the Mobile Number and OTP. The apps will take OTP (One time Password) Automatically.
3rd Step: After Sign in the Swiggy, Zomato apps, Customers can go through the Liquor Section and check the brand names one by one.
4th Step: Select your wishing Brands like beer/ Whisky/ Wine/ Rum or etc and add it to the final Cart.
5th Step: Select the location nearby me and enter the address & Pin Code. And Pay the amount online via Net Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Wallets.
6th Step: After Successful completion of Online payment, the Liquor order will be delivered to the given address within 6 hours.
Note: If you Cancel the order the amount will not be refunded. The Swiggy and Zomato apps are allowing refund process to Food Orders only.
