PM Kisan Garib Kalyan Yojna Status 2020

PM Kisan Garib Kalyan Yojna Scheme was established in 2015 by the Central Government of India to Provide financial assistance to all the Indian former Beneficiaries. Under this scheme every year, the Indian Government will Credit Rs.6000/- in 3 Installments to the eligible formers.

The Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi Garu especially launched this scheme in 2016 for poor and needy Farmers. The objective of this scheme is to address poverty.

Latest News: Due to coronavirus effect, the Indian Government has officially announced to lockdown all Indian States for 21 days So that the Central government of India is going to provide 5kg rice, 1 kg of dal and wheat for the next 3 months free of Cost those who have a white ration card.

Under this PM Kisan Garib Kalyan Yojna Scheme, more than 80 Crore poor beneficiaries will get benefit from the Central govt. And the Indian Govt will cover 2/3 of the population to provide this Subsidy item. 

On 26th March 2020, Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman Garu has officially announced the package of Rs 1.7 lakh Crore under the PMGKY Scheme to Provide food Subsidies to all the urban & rural poor people. The daily wage workers and women also will get these benefits under this scheme.

In the same way, Sitharaman Garu announced in the press meet that the Central government will provide medical insurance of Rs 50 lakh each for Nurse, doctors, ASHA Workers, and other workers who are helping the Corona Patents across India.

Till today, overall 642 Corona Positive cases identified by the Health Department of India. Overall 20 lakh People will get this Medical Insurance benefit under this scheme.

List of Beneficiaries announced by Finance minister

Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman Garu has announced that 8 different types of beneficiaries are going to benefit by the Central government under the PM Kisan Garib Kalyan Yojna Scheme. 

  1. Farmers
  2. MNREGA
  3. Poor widows, poor pensioners, 
  4. UJVALA scheme holders
  5. SHGs for women,
  6. Sector workers through EPFO
  7. Construction workers
  8. Jan Dhan Yojana account holders

Farmers: The Government of India is going to deposit PM Kisan yojana scheme 2nd Installment amount of Rs.2000 from April 1st, 2020 to the formers Bank account directly. More than 8.69 crore eligible beneficiaries will get Rs.2000 amount from April 1st, 2020. 

MNREGA: The MNREGA workers will get an additional income of Rs.2000. Overall 5 Crore MNREGA wage workers will get this benefit.

Poor widows & poor pensioners: The above 60 years, widows and disabled people will get Rs.1000 in two installments. More than 3 crore people will get this benefit.

UJVALA scheme holders: Under this scheme, more than 8.3 Crore BPL Families will get free Cylinders for three months.

SHGs for women: The Self Help Group (SHG) women will be able to get a free loan up to Rs.20 lakhs

Jan Dhan Yojana account holders: The account holders of Jan Dhan Yojana will get Rs.500 per month for free months.
