YSR Matsyakara Bharosa Scheme

YSR Matsyakara Bharosa scheme has launched by the Andhra Pradesh state CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy Garu to given financial help to fishermen. After launching the Scheme, all eligible beneficiaries were benefited Rs.4000. After the First Installment, the Government makes an important announcement and increase the Financial support from Rs.4000 to Rs.10000 for the fisherman community.

Earlier the Fishermen were provided with Rs 4000.00 during Covid Lockdown has now been raised to Rs.10000.00. Fishermen are already the beneficiaries of schemes released as YSR Rythu Bharosa, Vahana Mitra, and pension schemes.

YSR Matsyakara Bharosa scheme Status Rs.10000 Help

The basic objective of the ‘YSR Matsyakara Bharosa’ (YSR Fishermen’s Assurance) scheme is to support the fishermen of the State, by providing fishing incentives and good facilities.

The State government of Andhra Pradesh launches the program on the AP postal service, and every fisherman can enroll at www.ap.gov.in. On making the entire program transparent online, 1,09,231 fishermen will now get an amount directly credited to their bank account.

Rules & Regulations that Govern the Fishermen’s Eligibility:

1. In order to make the rules and regulations understood by the fishermen community, the scheme provides guidelines to fishermen that are expected to follow as it is.

2. An applicant for availing benefit of INR 10000.00 should be a fisherman by profession, and a permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh.

3. The beneficiary should belong to the age group of 21 to 60 years.

4. More importantly, the scheme does apply to the members of Fishermen who operate motorized boats and non-motorized boats, fishing nets, for deep-sea fishing.

5. The fishing activities were non-operational when the marine ban period was laid on. And, the lean period from April 15 2021 to June 14 2021 are applicable to the scheme.

Government Extends Support to Fishermen & Other Aqua Related Businesses:

  • The Government of Andhra Pradesh extends the scheme services to aqua labs and aqua farmers of the AP fisherman communities.
  • The Farmers who own motorboats will get a diesel subsidy of Rs.9.00 per liter. The earlier subsidiary was Rs. 6.03.
  • The Government identifies 80 plus diesel filling stations.
  • The Fishery Department will step up integrated aqua labs at about 46 locations, at INR 56.53 Crore.
  • The main purpose of the establishment is to test the quality of water, sand, feed, and seeds that will benefit the aquaculturist.
  • The government will allow a power subsidy for aqua farmers. They will be charged INR 1.50 per unit. That means the Government will set aside INR 720.00 crore to balance the unit price that it provides as a subsidiary.
  • The fishermen will be given rights to take canals on lease at a nominal cost, as an input subsidy. In this way, fifty thousand and above farmers will directly benefit under this scheme.

Additional Benefit for the Fishermen:

The families of fishermen who lost their lives at sea will benefit with Rs. 10 lakh which was Rs. 5 lakh earlier. The government extends the scheme benefits to fishermen of age group between 18 years and 60 years.

Government Compensates the Fishermen loss belonging to East Godavari District:

As many as 16,559 fishermen lost their livelihood and the Oil Company paid a compensation of INR 68.88 Crore for a period of six months. These fishermen belong to eight Mandal of East Godavari District. The company failed to make a payment of INR 78.24 crore for the next seven months. Here, the government intervened and compensated the payment of the remaining INR 78.24 crore.

Here are the simple steps that will enable the eligible fishermen to make an easy enrolment. The YSR Matsyakara Bharosa Scheme Application Form 2021 is the channel through which one can seek INR 10000.00 benefit.

1st Step: All eligible beneficiaries should visit the AP govt official website i.e. www.ap.gov.in,

2nd Step: After getting the AP govt Home page, applicants should find the ‘YSR Matsyakara Bharosa Scheme Notification link”. An applicant must read the instructions thoroughly.

3rd Step: As a result, the application form page will be on display.

4th Step: An applicant must enter the required details and upload the required documents

5th Step: Once every required document is uploaded, an applicant must click the ‘submit button for the final submission.

The fishermen who are eligible for YSR Matsyakara Bharosa Scheme will have to fill in an application online. While filling the application, an applicant will have to upload documents.
